Wake Up Black Woman!!!
Wake Up Black WomanQuietly sleeping
Sedated, unconscious yet conscious!
A short sassy pecan tan woman approach her, grabbed her by the waste, look deeply into her eyes and firmly said, “there is no such thing as woman if she’s not in touch with a black woman, or if she isn’t a black woman herselfâ€.
Fire in their spirit, curves on their bodies, sexy and surreal. Destined to survive, stronger than any man, for “she†even makes him weak. She’s always at the top of her game, even when she’s down, she’s up and nothing can stop her from trying.
Crying! A black woman? NO, not for long. And if she does, she does it with dignity and pride.
Too strong to hold back the tears, yet powerful enough to sustain the pain, then all those around her stands to gain from her all mighty superior poise through it all. Ha, yeah only a Black Woman!!!
It’s a wonder why we all get a little nervous when one walks through the door and she’s got her hair braided, or locked, maybe even twisted, shaved close, even straightened, she doesn’t even flinch as she gracefully moves through the crowd to get to her destination. Then with confidence takes her position.
A forceful threat to most, an inspiration to others! Conflicted - A Threat. An inspiration. Threatened, then inspired, all in the same breathe. Only a black woman can have you double minded!!! Surrender world.
Let’s not forget about that soulful spirit of hers and that warm embrace and that wonderful sensitive interior. While parts of the world takes advantage of those qualities, some of us sit and wonder, how did god think to make that? I think I’d marry one if I weren’t one myself.
And once a black woman can get that’s who she is and how the world relates to her power, it’s all the sweeter. Then she knows who she is and how she makes the world go ‘round. Without her, strength is lost, searching to find…her!
The backbone of most families, the source for all communities, and the pillar for all that breathes— to lay it’s head for comfort.
Ah, yeah….A Black Woman!!!Wake up Black woman. W-a-k-e UP and take Life by the hand!!!
