It was a cool evening when I heard the sincere humbling voice of Soahfi Umoh.

I could feel the gentle spirit of nature that lives within her. She spoke candidly about her artistry and how a trip to Nigeria began to propel her forward to create a life of passion in South Carolina.

Soafhi talked about going to a river in Nigeria to pray and give honor to nature and blessings to family. It was at that moment that an epiphany came over Soahfi. In that quiet moment, the vision and destiny for her life came through. The birth of confidence, unwavering faith and courage was also born.

Now, Soahfi creates beautiful artistry and she teaches adults and children through her art. The truest most authentic Soahfi is now among us because of this divine moment.
