Dr. Nina Elshiekh (pronounced “el-sheek”) holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from NC State University.

Dr. Elshiekh has over 20 years of experience in various fields including soil microbiology, veterinary microbiology, virology and cancer.

She was a post-doctoral fellow at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she specialized in Epstein-Barr virus and it’s relationship to cancer in people with AIDS.
